DMCA Policy for Grilled Okra Recipe

Grilled Okra Recipe respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and other applicable laws, we have adopted a policy of responding to notices of alleged infringement that are provided to us in proper form.

This policy describes the information that should be present in a DMCA Takedown Notice and a DMCA Counter-Notification. It is not intended to provide legal advice, and we encourage you to consult with legal counsel before filing a notice or counter-notice.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible via the "Grilled Okra Recipe" website, you may notify our copyright agent, as set forth below. For your notice to be effective under the DMCA, it must be in writing and contain the following:

  6. An electronic or physical signature: Of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest.

Filing a DMCA Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to our copyright agent. To be effective under the DMCA, a counter-notification must be a written communication that includes substantially the following:

  • Identification of the material removed: Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location (URL) at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  • Statement under penalty of perjury: A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • Your contact information: Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Consent to jurisdiction: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which "Grilled Okra Recipe" may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification under DMCA subsection (c)(1)(C) or an agent of such person.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.
